SAVE THE DATE!  Sunday April 16th, we will be celebrating the 154th anniversary of the Women’s Animal Center – “ America’s First Animal Shelter™” .    We are working on a special beer release to celebrate the founder Caroline E White.  10% of the sales of that beer will be donated to the Women’s Animal Center.   During the event, there will be a basket raffle and 50/50.

BACKGROUND:

This year marks the 154th Anniversary of the Animal Sheltering and Adoptions movement in America. It began with thirty women, led by our founder Caroline Earle White, who formally joined forces on April 14, 1869 to establish Women’s Animal Center, America’s First Animal Shelter™.

These women used what little voice they had to speak on behalf of the voiceless. Today, Women’s Animal Center located in Bensalem Pa, continues to honor our Founder’s legacy by ensuring animals are treated humanely and with kindness. Women’s Animal Center saves the lives of countless animals and improves the health of pets through sheltering and adoptions, veterinary services, community partnerships, education and advocacy.
