Bitchin’ Kitten Launches Beer in Celebration of Women’s Animal Center 154th Anniversary!

NBC 10 Philly Critter Corner 04/12/23

Bitchin’ Kitten Brewery has brewed a special beer to celebrate the 154th anniversary of the Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem.

The Morrisville-based brewer has created a beer to honor the founder of the Women’s Animal Center, Caroline E White. The co-owners of Bitchin’ Kitten Brewery, Michael and Brigitte Crosson, are cat-loving (if you couldn’t tell from their brewery name!) and are passionate about supporting animal welfare organizations.

On Sunday, April 16, the organization is inviting the community to join them and the brewery for a special anniversary celebration. Animal lovers are invited to the event, taking place from 12-7PM, and can purchase food and the specially created beer from Bitchin’ Kitten called Caroline Earle “Wheat”, a Dunkelweizen Ale honoring the Women’s Animal Center founder Caroline Earle White.

A portion of the sales from this special beer release will support the shelter, as well as meals and medical care for the pets waiting to be adopted. The Women’s Animal Center will also have a table with information about the organization, as well as raffle baskets.
